Weekend Getaway

This past weekend, my boyfriend and I took a road trip to Spokane, Washington, where I had gone to college!  It was mostly just an excuse to be out of Seattle and remove myself from taxes for a little bit.
See below for some of the fun things we saw!

We went out to the Coeur d’Alene Resort and explored their docks and some of the nearby shops!
It was extremely windy that day, as you can tell by my hair! What you can’t see as easily though are all the white caps that were in the lake.
Dillon getting creative with posing.
We had brunch at the resort’s restaurant, Dockside Restaurant.
Not the best outfit for the 26 mph winds!
It looks cute here, but I was actually brushing out my knots!
We stayed at the Hotel Lusso in downtown Spokane, which is part of Spokane’s Davenport Autograph collection!

I decided to be a little extra when we went out to our dinner date at Clinkerdaggers.
The next day on the road trip back to Seattle, we took the scenic route and stopped at Leavenworth!

Part of the drive after Leavenworth.

We visited the Coeur d’Alene Resort and walked by some of the downtown shops and their dock, visited the River Park Square Mall, looked around at the coffee shop Atticus and next-door novelty shop, Boo Radley’s, went to Clinkerdaggers for dinner, then stopped at O’Doherty’s Irish Grille & Bar, Borracho Tacos, and Zola for the night.
We went to Leavenworth the next day and mistakenly continued the rest of the scenic route to Seattle.  Traffic was backed up from people visiting Stevens’ Pass for skiing/snowboarding for the day, and we ended up not getting home until after 10 pm!

All in all though, it was a fun weekend!

xo,

Stephanie
